Scottish Raspberry Eton Mess

 A real favourite pudding even north of the border!  Start with fresh local raspberries and cream and then create a Mess.

Eton Mess is a traditional English dessert made using a mixture of berries, broken meringue, and whipped double cream.  It supposedly originated from Eton College (England) where it is served at the annual cricket match against Harrow School.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Arrange raspberries in bottom of a tumbler glass and add a layer of meringue and then a layer of local cream.
  2. Continue layering until you reach the top of the glass.
  3. Enjoy!
